Overview
This course is designed for dentists and dental assistants who wish to gain an in depth understanding on how to restore implants. It will cover the prosthetics of implant dentistry and components used for fixed and removable prosthetics. This course will cover proper diagnosis and treatment planning.
Course Goal
Each doctor will ahve a complete understanding on:
• How to restore dental implants with multiple types if implant prothetics.
• Identify dental implant candidates.
• Proper treatment planning.
Each assistant will have a complete understanding on:
• The proper steps and components needed for the implant restorative phase.
• Temporary fabrication.
• Inventory control.
Live Prosthetics
• Dr. Chen and his assistant will demonstrate step by step impression techniques with the proper components used in implant restoration.
• Multiple live patients to demonstrate each of the different techniques and placement of the final restorations.
Hands-On
Prosthetic kits provided and impression taking on various types of abutments.
• Titanium Esthetic Abutment (anterior & posterior)
• Zirconia Esthetic Abutment (anterior)
• Snappy Abutment (posterior)
• Locator Abutment (denture/partials)
CE Credits 8 Units (Doctor and assistant)
Dentists and dental assistants lectures will be conducted separately, then the live demos and hands-on will be practiced together.
